Login information is the Canvas username and password for your student. If you know this information, you can proceed with registration. Otherwise, you will need to wait to receive the letter from your child’s school. Due to federal privacy laws, passwords cannot be given over the phone.
Rock Hill Schools will be offering online registration for all families beginning July 25. The new process will allow you to update your child’s information from the comfort of your home before attending orientation at your child’s school. We are excited to offer this new, convenient service to our families as a way to speed up the registration process and allow you to enjoy more time this summer with family.
By completing the registration in advance, you will be able to more efficiently move through the orientation and course/class schedule pick-up date for your child. Online registration is required and does not mean that you are not expected to attend back-to-school events in August at your child’s school to turn in required documents such as proof of residency, immunization records, and birth certificate. Please check your student’s school website for specific dates and times for orientation and meet-the-teacher events.
Later this summer, you will receive a mailing with additional instructions as well as a username and password to use to begin the online registration process. Once you are logged into our online registration system, you will be able to provide up-to-date information related to your child’s health and medical needs while at school, emergency contacts, phone numbers for parents/guardians, transportation preferences, and more.
Part 1: Once you have received the letter with your child’s username and password and online registration has opened on July 25, visit www.rock-hill.k12.sc.us/register to enter the registration portal. Each account is unique to each student. Once you are logged in, you will be able to update your student’s health and medical information, emergency contacts, phone number(s), transportation, and more. If registering more than one student, please be sure to have the unique username and password available for each student.
By completing Part 1 in advance, you will be able to more efficiently move through the orientation and meet-the-teacher events at your student’s school. If you do not complete Part 1 in advance, you will need to be prepared to complete Part 1 while attending your student’s orientation or meet-the-teacher event.
Part 2: At your student’s school event, you will be required to provide the following documents to complete the registration and enrollment process:

Accepted Proof of Residence documents must be current within the last 90 days and could be: Electric Bill, Gas Bill, or a Rental or Lease Agreement
The top portion of the bill showing the billing address of the residence being confirmed is required.
If you do not have Internet access, we invite you to visit any of our schools after online registration opens.
Computer access is also available at the York County Library and many areas offer free WiFi that would allow you to access the Internet to complete the online registration.
