This morning (June 20, 2019), the Rock Hill Schools Board of Trustees held a special called work session to learn more about the district’s 10-Year Master Plan. Today’s meeting followed earlier presentations by district leadership and members of our community who serve on the “Pathfinders” Master Planning team. As the district looks toward the future for facility, security and safety, technology, infrastructure, and other capital needs, our Board of Trustees have asked district leadership to gather additional feedback from the greater Rock Hill community. Next Monday and Tuesday, June 24 and 25, a research firm will conduct a phone survey. A scientifically-accurate representative sample of our community will be contacted by Crantford Research. In the event you are contacted, we ask for and thank you for your feedback. As part of this research, not all households will be contacted and not everyone contacted will have a child enrolled in our schools. Through this research, we will learn the overall community perception of our district as well as opinions on future growth.
We believe it is important to be engaged and aware of planning efforts by the school district. The most recent presentation, which was part of the June 10, 2019, Board of Trustees work session, can be viewed here or by clicking the video below.
Thank you for your continued support of Rock Hill Schools!
