Rock Hill Schools superintendent Kelly Pew announced today a reorganization of responsibilities for district administrators.

Brian Vaughn (pictured at left) has been promoted to executive director of facilities services after serving the department as director for the past 6 years. He has worked in Rock Hill Schools since 1997 and served as facilities manager until 2010. With his promotion, Vaughn will assume responsibility of managing the district’s bus fleet in addition to his other areas of responsibility. He begins his new role immediately.

Additionally, Pew has made the following changes effective July 1:

The technology department will report to deputy superintendent Tony Cox.
Elementary and secondary school guidance services will report to Jill Pappas and Bill Cook, respectively.
Associate superintendent Luanne Kokolis will add the management of 4K and 5K enrollment, serve as a mentor to two middle school principals, and work to enhance the district’s alternative programs including Rebound, Renaissance, and Phoenix. She will also support and encourage schools’ efforts in applying for state and national recognitions while supporting school and district programs.
