The Rock Hill Schools Board of Trustees approved five assistant principal administrative moves at its special called business meeting on July 24.
The following changes are effective July 31:
- Mabra Wayman moves to Belleview Elementary School from Northside Elementary School of the Arts.
- Heather Jackson, previously at Belleview Elementary School, will be the new assistant principal at Mount Holly Elementary School.
- Chip Newton, formerly of Mount Holly Elementary School, will be moving to Rosewood Elementary School and serve as assistant principal under Deborah Greenwood who joined Rock Hill Schools earlier this month.
- Robert Hamm moves to Independence Elementary School and will work with Kimberly Odom, who will join Rock Hill Schools this week.
- South Carolina middle school assistant principal of the year Carie Lowdermilk, formerly at Castle Heights Middle School, moves to Saluda Trail Middle School.
The changes announced today create an assistant principal vacancy at Castle Heights Middle School. The position will be posted immediately.
