Rock Hill Schools will open online registration for new students and 5-year-old Kindergarten for the 2019-2020 school year on Monday, May 6. Registration/re-enrollment for current students will open on Monday, June 24. Applications are currently being accepted for the district’s 4-Year-Old Kindergarten program by visiting Central Child Development Center.
The convenient, online process will allow parents to update information from the comfort of their home before attending orientation sessions at their child’s school. The district is pleased to offer this service to its families as a way to speed up the registration process.
By completing the registration in advance, parents and guardians will be able to quickly move through the orientation and course/class schedule pickup dates to be held later at each school.
As the registration date draws closer, parents of current students will receive an e-mail with additional instructions to guide them through the online registration process. Parents and guardians will be able you to provide up-to-date information related to emergency contacts, phone numbers and e-mail addresses, transportation preferences, and more.
We invite families in need of assistance, whether it is questions or access to Internet, to visit any of our schools after online registration opens. Computer access is also available at the York County Library, and many areas in our community offer free WiFi that would allow you to access the Internet to complete the online registration.
